I° Daily Disturbances

Daily Disturbances is a cycle of actions performed in public spaces and places where people would congregate. This series consisted of introducing an action that ran counter to the “normal” behaviour expected, disturbing the monotonous everyday life of the people present at that particular time and location.

Everything was filmed using hidden cameras: both the action and reactions of the people around.

Here, reactions play an important role and are an integral part of m. The study of these reactions is intensified by a second study of reactions from the public watching the videos.

I would love to get the chance to compare these reactions by pursuing these studies around the world, in different cultures, with different populations and across time.

In the end, these actions, which covered varying levels of intensity of disturbance, led to a vast anthropological and behavioural study designed as a social radiography of our European contemporary societies.
